The Kesuk Icefall moves enough between seasons that no route description survives more than a year. This traverse meant re-routing twice mid-crossing when a serac collapse changed the safest line, in temperatures that kept every zipper and buckle at the edge of what they were rated for.
The shell jackets came back with ice-jam failures on two lesser competitor garments carried as backups — zero failures on our own gear across the full team.
